Celeste at 9 yrs. old!! We are so proud of her.

Celeste is now attending 2nd Grade. The school year is almost over. I can't believe how far she has come. She is now trying to learn how to ride a bike and doing well. She has had 6 more surgeries since the last I have written. Some for Strabismus (wandering eye). She may have one more for her eye on the way.

Her shunts are doing well. She still has some pain and so forth but you can't even tell she is sick by looking at her. She is now 9 yrs. old and has reached 48 lb. She is still underweight but she is now as tall as her twin, Myesha. Celeste is still skinnier and looks different despite the fact they are identical. Health has distorted her face some. Higher forhead and a smashed in nose. (she fell down off the porch and onto concrete). The doctors will fix it when she gets older.

Now that she has caught up closer to her peers she is sometimes quite a bully. She can be very sweet too. I guess she figures it is pay back time.

She is still having pains periodically from the Lyme Disease. Right now she is not on antibiotics. So far good. She does complain from time to time about her mommy not being able to play with her. But me being 280 lb. it is hard. I am hoping someday that we will be able to provide her with more things that she wants. We are financially drained as usual. But rock on, life really is great. Celeste was able to take one year of dance and enjoyed it. I will post her dance picture soon when I get it scanned.
